May is National Photo Month. Each photograph tells a million stories and during our programs, participants take a lot of photographs.

We invite you to help us learn those stories.

All you have to do is to submit a photograph from your program travel and the story behind the moment. What were you learning? What made
this moment stick out in your mind?

Our first Behind the Photograph is with Matt Scialdone, a participant in the Global Teachers South Africa 2016 program. Click below to listen to his story of a child demonstrating the ingenuity that he wants to teach all of his students.

Have a story to share? Send it and your photograph to Kate at keruny@northcarolina.edu.

Your donation of $38, $380, or $3,800 will help North Carolinians continue to go behind the photograph and connect with our global community.
